Please join us for an evening of awards, fine cuisine, and experiential entertainment as we bestow the Anne Focke Arts Leadership Award to Richard Andrews of The Henry Gallery.
This annual fundraiser for 911 Media Arts will highlight and celebrate the rich past, present, and our next steps into our future as a place where digital media, art, education, and expertise meet to give a voice to our youth and community.
About the Anne Focke Awards
911 Media Art Center bi-annually gives an award to recognize individuals in our community who champion the arts through their visionary leadership and innovation. The award is named after Anne Focke, this year we are pleased to present this award to Richard Andrews of The Henry Gallery.
Anne's career parallels the history of the arts in our community and nationally over the years-- Through her career, she has founded, or collaborated to start new organizations and programs, including: and/or, an alternative arts space; Artech a fine art art-service company; CoCA, the Center on Contemporary Art, Artist Trust, a nonprofit organization that supports Washington state artists, Since 1999, she has been the executive director of Grantmakers in the Arts, a national membership organization for arts philanthropists.
