Shakefest 2012
Shakefest is an educational series of dance workshops happening during the day on Saturday, May 26th and Sunday, May 27th 2012. It is purposely orchestrated with a multicultural and international theme; in line with a new Ireland, that leads to an evening of a multicultural dance of excellence on the beautiful grounds of Charleville Castle, Tullamore. This is a community run holistic fair for families, international dance and art enthusiasts and anyone active!
This year Shakefest hosts Joana Saahirah, . It is important to promote the talents and cultural background of such international guests to further promote a community and world without borders.
Individual workshops are available to all participants during Shakefest, if you wish to take extra workshops during Shakefest please inquire at the workshop registration desk for availability for each workshop.

When choosing a package please let us know which workshops you wish to take when purchasing the tickets, a full list of workshops can be found on the Shakefest Website

Saturday Workshop Package - 3 workshops of your choice and Saturday day/evening performances
Weekend Workshop Package - 3 workshops of your choice, evening entertainment on the Saturday, and all 3 Joana Saahirah Workshops
*All above packages include general admission, camping and evening performance.
Joana Saahirah Workshops:
1 Joana Saahirah - Choice of any one workshop by Joana Saahirah
2 Joana Saahirah - Choice of any two workshops by Joana Saahirah
3 Joana Saahirah - All three workshops by Joana Saahirah
*All Joana Saahirah workshop prices include general admission but camping and evening performances are separate
Day General Admission - Access to the festival grounds during daytime hours
Day Family pass - Access to the festival grounds during daytime hours for 2 Adults and 3 kids
Evening Performance - Evening entertainment starting at 8pm
The evening entertainment will start off with the Hafla, this unique event is open to any Shakefest attendees that wish to perform for friends and fellow attendees. If you wish to perform please email us. The Hafla will be followed up by special performances from our international guests, a Fire Show with the Red Embers.
