Cara Mia Theatre Co. presents La Esquinita USA
Cara Mía Theatre Co. presents a one-man show developed during EL TEATRO CAMPESINO's new works festival - LA ESQUINITA USA written and performed by Rubén C. González and directed by Kinan Valdez, artistic director of EL TEATRO CAMPESINO.
Travel with us to the fictional town of LA ESQUINITA, USA where 11 characters from a Mexican barrio confront the problems of many modern-day cities. In a display of physical and emotional virtuosity, darting in one character and out of another, performer Rubén C. González challenges us to look into the economically challenged barrio and asks, "Is there hope?" Don't miss this story of a barrio in search of love, forgiveness and redemption.
