Workshop - Acting for Improvisers
Taught By: Cristela Carrizales and Clint Vrazel
Description: Don't know what to do between speaking lines or during those eternal silences? Stuck with the same old zany fallback characters or bland transactional scenes? Ready to move past flat caricatures to real characters? In this workshop you'll learn improv-ready acting techniques to create and sustain believable characters and relationships physically, mentally, and emotionally. You'll learn ways to calm down and use time, space, and movement in the moment for maximum effect and clarity. Finally, you'll learn to go after what you want while heightening emotion and tension to make your scenes truly unforgettable.
Prerequisites: Some improv experience preferred.
Class size is limited to 15.
