Workshop - Intro to Freestyle Rap
Taught By: Buck and Clint Vrazel
Description: This workshop will have you laying down beats, rhymes, and unforgettable hooks before you can say "Baby Got Back." Whether you're new to rap, looking to break old habits, or just wanting an improv challenge, this is the workshop for you. Buck and Clint will demystify rhyme, flow, hooks, imagery, beatboxing and more with fun foundational drills and games that build skills you'll want to use every time you warm-up or improvise any song lyrics, Shakespeare, or poetry. If you ever wanted to make your own crew and start battling, here's the place to start kickin' it. We'll start you off easy, and by the end you'll be throwing down with a posse of improvisers like you wuz born in Compton, CA.
Prerequisites: Some improv experience preferred, but not necessary.
Class size limited to 15 students.
