The Dreambus Drive-In is a pop-up multi-media event that imagines a physical, collective space for the mobile unconscious. Spearheaded by Yeaheavy Projects, The Dreambus Drive-In proudly debuts eleven original short dream films, a LIVE original score, and a vehicular sculpture for an audience to trip out in.
The Dreambus Drive-In presents the "mobile unconscious" - the dream of movement and the movement of dreams; the transportive conditions we crave in order to create. The journeys screened reflect moments of pursuit and flight, as well as the similarities between modes of unconscious survival: sleeping/dreaming, traveling/commuting, and filmmaking/viewing. The Dreambus Drive-In recalls the importance of dreaming as a shared experience and significant source of cultural stimulus. Together we ask each other, how do we dream, here, today.
