Andrew Houston - In Charge
In charge explores a direct link between film and live performance. Two performers act out their roles in two different contexts. One half of the performance is pre-filmed the other a live character, the piece is loosely centered on an interview that takes place in both the live space and from the pre-recorded video. The piece is a light hearted, but considered, exploration of the contrasting accessibility of both performance and film and presents a power play between the characters to see who really is In charge.
