eco-Volunteer @ Paynes Prairie Preserve State Park
Exotic Plant Pull for Earth Day April 22, 2012 9am- noon

Celebrate Earth Day by making a difference at this National Natural Landmark. Help restore wildlife habitat by removing invasive exotic plants from the sensitive hammock forests.
Work Level: Light to Moderate: Walking, hand pulling and light digging.
Special Skills: None Equipment Required: Please bring your lunch or snacks, gloves, sunscreen, bug spray and a refillable water bottle, and please wear a hat, long pants, and sturdy shoes. We will be removing coral ardisia plants from a live oak hammock.
FREE family pass to any Florida State Park for a future visit, mailed to you as a 'Thank You' for your service. Participants are welcome to explore and enjoy the parks' many activities upon completion of service.
