Girl Scout Camp-In
Dinos, fish, and fossils oh my! Girl Scouts will get up close and personal with a few of our ancient allies in our newest traveling exhibit Megalodon: Largest Shark that Ever Lived. Each camper will delve into the world of paleontology through interactive activities that require them to understand the science of fossilization. After a lesson in shark anatomy and physiology, scouts will have the opportunity to uncover their own fossils and discover exactly what it takes to earn the coveted title of an Exploreum Paleontologist.
This specially-themed Lock-In will be held on Saturday, April 28th at 5:00 p.m. and will last until 7:00 a.m. the following morning (Sunday, April 29th.) Registration may be completed individually or by troop. For more information, contact Renee' LeBouef, Exploreum Camp Coordinator, at rlebouef@exploreum.com.
Once you have registered, our Camp Coordinator will send you a confirmation email which will include a Permission Form to be completed, a copy of the Camp-In Survival Guide, and a Photo Waiver Agreement.
**Registration closes on Monday, April 23rd. Sign up before March 24 and your Paleontology Patch will be included for free! Patch will be $3.00 if registration is completed after this date.
