**Tickets available online until noon day of and at door.

Featuring three 15 min. presentations by Patty Huber of Groupon's G-Team, Sami Nerenberg from Design for America, and Mike Nourse from Hyde Park Art Center/Chicago Art Department. Come have a drink, catchup with friends, and be inspired by 20 insights on creativity+social change from each of our amazing speakers.

PATTY HUBER, Manager of G-Team, leads the philanthropic arm at Groupon. Harnessing the collective action platform, Patty developed the G-Team initiative to turn deal seekers into do-gooders by tapping into the collective power of the group to respond to local community need. Passionate about volunteer involvement and crafty with online engagement, she has led the G-Team in raising funds and awareness for local charities across the nation. Patty discovered her passion for community development and civic engagement through her experience developing service-learning and experiential education programs for high school and college students. She went on to produce corporate volunteer programs and approaches corporate citizenship and civic engagement from a social work perspective and seeks to create innovative ways to solve social problems through sustainable for-profit models.

MIKE NOURSE has taught and managed arts learning programs since 2002. As the Director of Education at Hyde Park Art Center, Mike's current work centers on the development of a "professional pathway" for artists, one that compliments the close to 100 programs per quarter that he oversees. Nourse holds an MFA in Visual Communication from the School of the Art Institute, a BA in Communication from DePaul University, and has taught and advised at both schools. Nourse is also a co-founder and Program Director at Chicago Art Department, where he has explored art learning since 2003. Mike helped launch DePaul's Digital Media Center in 2003, redefined Marwen's studio programs from 2006-2009, and as the Education Specialist at Chicago Architecture Foundation in 2010, he worked with 20 public schools and over a 1000 teens to expand architecture studies city-wide, to include studio art practices. In addition to his education work, Mike is a practicing artist. His video shorts from early the 2000s were shown around the world, his polaroid photography has been featured in Soura Magazine and the Baltimore Sun-Times, and his digital transfer work has been featured in three solo shows since 2005.
