Session #2 -"How to Blend Moments of Joy - by Inspiring Nutty Caregivers" For Dementia Professionals and Caregivers. Wednesday, November 18th from 9:00 am to 12 noon.
Learn how to blend moments of joy with required tasks, legal directives, facility procedures, and co-worker interactions. Nutty caregivers have the best answers when it comes to hands-on care, the trick is to get them to believe it. Jolene will share how to discover the best teacher in the room is the person with dementia. As a professional caregiver, you will have sure knowledge that you are performing a difficult job very well. In this presentation, the audience will learn simple ways to unleash creative nuttiness, which will shift everyone's mood, creating better days. 3 CEUs Available.
Founder of Enhanced Moments and author of the book, Creating Moments of Joy. Jolene Brackey is a celebrated nationwide speaker in Alzheimer's education. She has a B.A. from Iowa State University and extensive experience with people who have Alzheimer's. Eager to share her practical solutions and insights, Jolene began speaking at educational seminars. Her message of hope and encouragement along with generous helpings of humor is warmly embraced by families and professionals.
