CenterStage: Arts Clinic - Writing an Artist Statement
Whether you are applying for a grant, a residency, a fellowship, sending a press release, or just updating your bio for your website, you need to be able to effectively describe your ART, your process, and yourSELF.
Are you stuck at your name?
What's the difference between a BIO and a RESUME?
Are you at a crossroad of a myriad of chronological angles?
How are you supposed to talk about the art you're making WHILE you're making it?
Prepare to get your hands dirty, with ink or graphite, and reveal yourself in a new light.
Guests, who have overcome these same challenges, include artists Vijay Palaparty (Spilling Ink Project) and Sreyashi Day (Srishti Dances of India), who perform at KST on Friday, Feb 24 and Saturday, Feb 25 at 8PM
