Shakespeare's The Tempest AND The Tempest, A Junior Version
PACK presents 2 versions of The Tempest. First, a 25 minute Junior Version, adapted from the original Shakespearean poetry, and written in every day English. This "pre-show" makes the play to follow very easy to understand.
Exiled for twelve years, the former Duke of Milan summons all his magic to create a tempest that will bring his treacherous brother to his island. As he seeks revenge, his daughter Miranda discovers the brave new world of love with the young prince Ferdinand who washes ashore. Meanwhile, Prospero's savage slave Caliban hatches his own plot to escape and take control of the island paradise.
Shakespeare's most magical comedy of forgiveness and wide-eyed wonder includes Michael Palmer as Prospero, Kalea Engleson as Miranda, Chance Ingalls as Ferdinand, Rache Sapla as Caliban, and Amanda Lo as Ariel. With guest choreographer Leslea White.
The cast of The Tempest, A Junior Version is comprised of Dylen Tomita, Jade Tamashiro, Ayzhia Tadeo, Xander van den Berg, Danielle Amparo, Jeremiah Ulufanua, Nicole Buyukacar, Samantha Staudt, Vivian DeAlmeida, and Malie Miner.
