Ted Sink CD Release Show
Ted Sink is a songwriter by disposition and an ad-copyrwriter by trade, living in Portsmouth, NH. The father of 4 daughters, he writes songs of love, loss and desire, many in story form. Since 2002, he has published three albums or originals with his producer Andy Happel, in styles ranging from country to classic pop to latin jazz and reggae.
Sink will perform here at St. Lawrence Arts Tuesday March 25th at 7PM. Join us as we celebrate the release of his most current album Nothing Changes; Sink's third and most recent release, is a departure from his earlier work in that two of the cuts are covers (Come Rain or Come Shine by Johnny Mercer and Harold Arlen, and Do Nothin' 'Til You Hear From Me by Duke Ellington and Bob Russell), and nine are originals. It also differs by venturing into previously untried territory with the semi-hip hop title tune, the almost-reggae Upstairs Room and the pseudo Beach Boys-ish Take Me Away.
