Blake Upper School Theater - Grease
GREASE is the word! On March 9 - 11, come join in the fun as the Burger Palace Boys and the Pink Ladies along with their friends at fictional Rydell High warm up the stage with electric, energetic, and memorable dance moves and music. This popular musical by Jim Jacobs and Warren Casey explores the timeless social issues of teen love, friendship and angst set against the backdrop of 1950's cars, drive-ins and school dances. Teen bravado and vulnerabilities collide in romance, social groups and class conflict. Can they find their way to mutual respect, admiration and acceptance? Fraught with tears and rejections, it is a bumpy ride to true love and friendship.
Performances are in the MPAC on the Hopkins Campus at these dates and times:
Friday March 9 at 7:30pm,
Saturday March 10 at 2pm and 7:30pm, and
Sunday March 11 at 2 pm
