With the Illahee Series Pass you will participate in five lectures engaging in the 2006 theme "Oil & Water." Series passes are available at a range of prices and seating options.
Two resources -oil and water- will increasingly impact our future, from agriculture and transportation, to economic and national security. Globally, nationally, and regionally we're running alarmingly low on both. Sometime in the near future, we will have mined half the world's oil resources. How will we respond? Unlike oil, water is a renewable resource. Yet, much of our water use has been unsustainable. Oil and water are tightly connected. How will we adapt to their complex interactions over the coming decades?
