5 Lesbians Eating a Quiche
Itʼs 1956 and the women of the Susan B. Anthony Society for the Sisters of Gertrude Stein are beginning their annual quiche breakfast. When communists descend upon their idyllic all-American town, panic and sisterhood head into high gear in this completely original work that Time Out Chicago recently deemed, ʻsmart and hysterically funnyʼ.
Directed by What If? Artistic Director Kyle Barnette and written by College of Charleston graduate Evan Linder along with Andrew Hobgood, both of What If? sister theatre The New Colony in Chicago, this tasty treat called ʻhigh spirited theatrical comfort food with a bit of a saucy kickʼ (Chicago Tribune) will make its delectable east coast debut right here in The Holy City. Featuring a collection of some of Charleston's greatest comic actresses Five Lesbians Eating A Quiche promises to be finger-lickin' good!
