The Girl Howdy Band 8 PM Show Only
Cafe Fantastique Worcester, MA
Girl Howdy grew out of several raucous Sunday afternoon jam sessions between four women who shared a love of the heartfelt lyrics and straightforward melodies of hardcore honky-tonk. Their music spans the late 1940's to the 1960's!
Girl Howdy's lineup includes Rose Sinclair on steel, Betsy-Dawn (BeeDee) Williams on guitar, and Paula Bradley on piano, and Emma O'Donnell on fiddle, and a rotating cast of excellent musicians joining in on drums and upright bass.
The roots honky-tonk mission of Girl Howdy continues, delivering tight vocal harmonies, spare yet punchy arrangements, an infectious honky-tonk groove, and above all one heck of a good time!
