EXTENDED! Mother on Fire by Sandra Tsing Loh

24th Street Theatre
Los Angeles, CA

EXTENDED AGAIN! SANDRA TSING LOH IS ON FIRE - FINAL 2 SHOWS

In short, "Mother on Fire" is vintage (Sandra Tsing) Loh, and, therefore, not to be missed. - Los Angeles Daily News

A distinctive voice, Loh parlays the minutiae of her urban experience into big laughs. - Los Angeles Times

(Sandra Tsing Loh's) honesty and her ability to make the audience feel as though she's conversing with one person and not 100 is why Loh's performance works so well. Loh continues to progress as a performer and a writer. And Los Angeles is lucky to have her. - Backstage West

24th Street Theatre, Modern Artists Company and Frier McCollister proudly present MOTHER ON FIRE, written and performed by Sandra Tsing Loh and directed by David Schweizer with Bart DeLorenzo.

Produced by Debbie Devine, Jay McAdams and Frier McCollister.

Sandra Tsing Loh is a formerly sane person who became a mother. Not just a mother, a mother in Los Angeles.

Suddenly, a relaxed purposeless life swilling cosmos has been transformed into an epic quest through such burning trials as skyrocketing real estate, epidemic peanut allergies and frightening public schools surrounded by chainlink fence within which rabid mountain lions roam (at least that was the first impression).

A show for hysterical Los Angeles parents and those who must put up with them.
