"Service By Night", a Musical Tour Aboard the Orient Express
The Bellingham Chamber Chorale presents its annual gala benefit auction, "SERVICE BY NIGHT, a Musical Tour aboard the Orient Express" gala benefit auction on Friday, February 24, 6:00 p.m. at Bellingham Golf and Country Club, 3729 Meridian Street. Tickets for the event, which includes a multi-course dinner, fine wines, musical entertainment, and a silent and live auction, are $65 per person and are available for purchase at brownpapertickets.com, Piper Music, Village Books, and The Community Food Co-Op.
"Bellingham Chamber Chorale's gala provides a wonderful opportunity to enjoy an intimate evening with some of our community's most talented singers and performers," according to BCC singer and Gala co-chair, Betsy Senff. This year's Gala, "SERVICE BY NIGHT, a Musical Tour aboard the Orient Express", will transport guests to 1920s London, Paris and Vienna for an evening of music, mystery and song. We will pay homage to Gabriel Faure in Paris and Amadeus Mozart in Vienna as we travel by train."
The Orient Express passenger train, which ran from Paris to Istanbul, has become synonymous with intrigue and turn-of-the-century luxury travel. In keeping with that reputation, you can expect wonderful entertainment as BCC members and friends regale you in song and music while you enjoy a multi-course wine-inclusive dinner and show support for BCC through live and silent auctions. You are encouraged to 'board the train' in the fashion of the day.
