Journey: Tradition to Innovation
Don't miss this unique performance of Bharata Natyam dance of India exploring both traditional as well as contemporary movement by Anuradha Naimpally, nominated for Best Dancer in 2011 by the Austin Area Critics' Table. Accompanied by live music, song, and spoken word, this presentation pushes the boundaries of this ancient tradition, giving it a modern edge. Guest artists include Eastern Soul diva, Naga Valli, Spoken Word poetess, Chandra Washington and more.
