2015 Whatcom Wedding Tour
The first annual Whatcom Wedding Tour will take place on Sunday, October 18th from 10am to 5pm at 8 venues in Whatcom County. It provides an affordable, convenient way for local couples to visit multiple venues and meet dozens of event vendors in one day. Visitors on the tour will check in at Gown & Glove Bridal Consignment, 1521 Cornwall Avenue, Bellingham and pick up a guide book and goodie bag. The guide book will contain a list of all 8 venues, a map of their locations and a list of the exhibitors at each location. There will be 4-6 exhibitors at each venue including local companies that offer catering, floral design, photography, hair and makeup, event planning, bridal fashions and more.
Silver Reef Hotel Casino Spa, also a venue on the tour, will be open from noon to 7pm with fashion shows by Gown & Glove at 2pm and 5pm. Silver Reef will also be hosting an after party event starting at 4pm that includes: door prizes, a complimentary buffet, dance demonstrations and lessons, and DJ tunes. Tickets are just $5 per person for this travelling event planning party. The tour will be a fun and informative day that brides can share with their grooms, family and members of their bridal party.
