Rolling Repair Class: Basic Fixes on the Road
The Bike Kitchen San Francisco, CA
Do you know what to do if you run into mechanical problems while out on a ride? A good multitool and some tire levers will fix most of the problems on your bike in a pinch, and we can show you how. Join our mechanics on an easy ride around the city with frequent stops to demonstrate on-the-road repair techniques. We'll show you how to repair a flat, adjust your shifting and brakes, fix a chain, adjust bike fit, and silence annoying creaks. You'll need your own set of tools: two tire levers, a spare tube, a pump, and a multitool (preferably with a chain tool). The rolling repair class and ride will last approximately 3 hours, and will begin at the Bike Kitchen and end in Golden Gate Park. You will be working on your own bike during the class! The class is $20 for Bike Kitchen members, $30 non-members.
