Set in modern times, Old Hat's Hamlet explores the social, political, and psychic costs of the older generation's attempts to induct the younger into the corrupt practices of privilege. Uncertain yet of who they are, Hamlet's generation chafes against the roles they feel pressured to play. Old Hat Theatre Company hones its youthful energy to interpret the young experience in the play.
