Not Available Event A NIGHT IN DUBLIN A NIGHT IN DUBLIN Academy of Trinity Irish Dancers Mark Howard, Director In nearly thirty years since its inception, the Trinity Academy has grown from a dozen students practicing in a church basement, to the largest Irish dance program in the world. The Trinity Irish Dancers, directed by Mark Howard, began performing in 1982 and since then has appeared on many nationally televised programs such as "Martha Stewart," "Good Morning America," "The Today Show," and two years in a row on the  "Jerry Lewis MDA Telethon." They enjoy sharing their talents and Irish Culture across the United States and throughout the world! The school has won an unprecedented 34 World Championships titles for the United States.   St. John Cantius Parishioner and altar boy, Peter Dziak, 14, is Trinity's first Solo Irish Dance World Champion which he claimed last year in Dublin, Ireland.  Dancers ranging from as young as 4 years old to 20 years old from throughout Chicago and its suburbs are here to give you a wee bit of the sights and sounds of Irish dancing!
