The Deceased Rachid El Ouali / Morocco / Short Film / 2006 Presenting a satirical view of Moroccan society, this short takes place at a funeral where each person secretly reveals to the camera his or her own opinions of the deceased and his wife. A Muslim Childhood Moumen Smihi / Morocco / Feature Film / 2006 Larbi, a child of 1950s Tangiers, straddles traditional and contemporary cultures within his daily milieu of the local Koranic and French secondary schools. Yet it is in a third setting, the forbidden international quarter and its fantasy world of cinema, that he begins to discover himself.
