The Marengo High School - Class of '85 Alumni presents the musical comedy "SANCTIFIED" Who said church ain't fun! - Saturday, October 3rd @ 2pm & 7pm @ Marengo High School Homecoming Weekend.

This is a fundraiser for Marengo High School. Sponsored by The Class of '85 Alumni. The School & The Class of '85 Alumni are Collaborating with Kennie Playhouse Theater (KPT) to bring it's audience favorite "SANCTIFIED" by Javon Johnson Who said Church ain't fun! Lookout Dixon Mills, AL!

KPT's presentation of --- Javon Johnson's spiritually uplifting musical comedy---"Sanctified" is awesome! This isn't your usual run of the mill theatrical, it's an event (ya'll) that promises to deliver lots of hand clapping, foot tapping, gut busting fun for the whole family. You'll be glad you came.

(Dixon Mills, AL) - Under the Direction of the talented Kenny Dozier and Musical Direction of Cedric Poellnitz (Class of '85) Sanctified offers a comical yet compelling glimpse into the heart of a small, southern, black Baptist church and its beloved congregants. Few in number they may be, but Piney Grove Baptist Church is one flock of born again, baptized believers whose convictions are heavily rooted in tradition and dead set against change.

The play features Kenny Dozier as both an Actor and Director. Music Director Cedric Poellnitz (Class of '85) featured cast members include: Bryant Thompson, Bobby Daniels, Darius Willis, Audrey Spann, Martha Lang, LaQualla Tatum, Shante King, Saaneah Jamison, Landria Burkley,Kemon Blanton, and Tim Gaines.

KPT is proud to be part of this fundraiser for The Marengo High School. Great fun for the whole family.
