Lamb and herbs, chocolate torte . . . just some of the bites you will taste paired with wines on this special evening with Mas de Daumas Gassac owners and winemakers Samuel and Muffi Guilbert and 18 Rabbits owner Alison Bailey Vercruysse.
18 Rabbits and Mas de Daumas Gassac may seem like two completely different businesses- one a granola maker, the other a wine maker, however, they have some deep familial connections and even deeper roots with the sustainability movement.
Chef Linh Phu of Bi-Rite Market will be creating a series of bites made of the ingredients 18 Rabbits carefully sources (almonds, herbs, fruit, grains, and more) and paired with Mas de Daumas Gassac wines. As we sit around the table to taste and sip, the owners from Mas de Daumas Gassac and 18 Rabbits will share stories about their family, their companies and how they are changing the food movement. Menu may include dishes like herb-crusted lamb and chocolate torte.
