Wedding Traditions Unveiled Exhibit Preview
Join the DuPage County Historical Museum for a sneak peak of its newest temporary exhibit "Wedding Traditions Unveiled" on Friday, October 16 from 6:30pm to 8:00pm.
The preview will include a chance to see the new exhibit before it opens to the general public, light hors d'oeuvres and a champagne toast.
"Wedding Traditions Unveiled" explores 100 years of courtship rituals and wedding traditions in DuPage County and around the world. From the Victorian Era to World War II, find out what customs have stood the test of time and which ones have changed in over a century. Get carried away by the romance of the past, peculiar nuptial customs, and extravagant dresses that weave a tale of local history.
