DePauw University Jazz Ensemble (October 2015 Concert)
The DePauw Jazz Ensemble, led by conductor Steven Snyder, presents its first concert of the 2015-16 season, "From Classics to Moderns," featuring three works created for big band since 1999, and three composed between 1962 and 1965. Come see what has changed and what has stayed the same.
ABOUT THE ENSEMBLE
The DePauw Jazz Ensemble performs on campus and in concert venues throughout Indiana, including combo performances in a club setting. Top artists regularly visit campus to perform with our jazz ensembles and give master classes. Guest artists have included: Jamey Aebersold, Jackie Allen, David Baker, Bobby Shew, John Fedchock, Lennie Foy, Lynne Arriale, Reggie Workman, Joe Wilder, Mike Longo, Randy Salman, Jim Snidero, Bob Mintzer, and Joe Lovano, among many others.
