Winter Wednesdays Lunch and Learn

Join us this winter for our new Lunch and Learn series as our favorite experts bring nature topics to you as you enjoy a delicious catered lunch.

The "Creating a Garden Plan with Native Plants" class will feature Michael Wiegand of Habiscapes. Habiscapes, recently awarded Angie's List Super Service Award for the second consecutive year, has been in business since the summer of 2002. Habiscapes specializes in creating sustainable outdoor living spaces that are both visually pleasing and harmonious with the indigenous environment. Habiscapes utilizes its extensive native plant and materials knowledge to create fabulous natural landscapes that are drought tolerant, fire resistant and wildlife friendly.

All Winter Wednesdays run from 11:00am to 12:30pm in the MK Nature Center's auditorium. All of our Winter Wednesdays Lunch and Learn classes include a catered gourmet lunch of soup, salad, and bread provided by Open Table Catering of Boise, Idaho. Ticket price of $16.50 per session includes the class and the lunch.
