Beer Week Film Screening : The Love Of Beer and Conversation with Director

Happy Beer Week! 18 Reasons is celebrating by making the ultimate date night for Valentine's Day. Forget dinner and a movie- try beer and a movie! Nibble on some TCHO chocolate and sip on some ALMANAC beer that have been paired perfectly (included in the ticket price).

The Love of Beer is a feature length documentary celebrating the women in the Pacific NW beer industry. Produced by Lingering Illocutions and created by Alison Grayson, The Love of Beer stars Bend Brewing's Tonya Cornett and Saraveza's Sarah Pederson and featuring Teri Fahrendorf, Lisa Morrison, Gayle Goschie, Amy Welch, The Love of Beer is an intimate portrayal of craft beer's female forerunners. Staying true to cinema vierte, these women tell their stories in their own words and through their own actions.

Proceeding the feature film will be a short film by Kai Hsing about the origins of Almanac Beer.

After the film we will have the director, Alison Grayson, with us to talk about her film. The filmmaker of the short, Kai Hsing, will also be on hand. We will have the boys behind Almanac here to pour their delicious seasonal beer and the folks from TCHO to talk about their unbelievable chocolate. We will have plenty of suds around to keep the conversation flowing.
