Washington Contemporary Ballet presents The Nutcracker
Washington Contemporary Ballet returns to Tacoma's Mt Tahoma High School Auditorium to celebrate the holiday season with their annual production of The Nutcracker!
WCB's full-length classical presentation of this family holiday favorite includes Tchaikovsky's memorable score and choreography by Kay Englert.
The magical Herr Drosselmeyer arrives at Clara's house with presents, dancing dolls, and a nutcracker. In her dreams, Clara and the Nutcracker battle the Mouse Queen and Mouse King. They arrive in the Land of Snow amongst a blizzard of dancing snowflakes. In the Kingdom of Sweets, Clara and her Prince are entertained as the dancing candies come to life.
You won't want to miss WCB's presentation with beautiful dancing, exquisite costumes, and colorful characters in this family holiday tradition.
