Cloud 9 is a sharp weapon in Caryl Churchill's fight against silence and injustice. Targeting sexuality, race relations, and the prejudice deeply imbedded in our societal norms, this Obie Award winning comedy will hit the audience with playful challenges that pack a punch: actors are cross-cast in gender, age, and race, while the script's jump across eras begs the question: have the imperialistic values of the British Empire truly faded from our modern society?
