Dance Month at the Kaplan Theatre presents "Mixed Bag"
Mixed Bag is an exhilarating array of pre-professional Houston Dance, featuring Houston Met Too, Inertia, Kennedy Dance Theatre/Jete, and Uptown Dance Company II.
Houston Met Too, the pre-professional training company of the Houston Metropolitan Dance Company, is a non-competitive concert based repertory dance company that is a product of the growth of the school and also functions as a training ground for students going on to college dance programs or a professional career. Inertia is the elite performing ensemble representing the Westside Dance Program. This group is nationally recognized with over 30 national titles. Jeté, the pre-professional dance company at Kennedy Dance Theatre, was formed in 2009 to provide additional training and performance opportunities for dancers who wish to pursue a professional dance career or plan to study dance in college. Uptown Dance Company II presents contemporary, diverse and innovative choreography created to expand the imagination of the dance audience.
