Winston-Salem Walking Food Tours *Every Saturday*
Thriving business, arts and music communities, amazing architecture, and fantastic restaurants define downtown Winston-Salem. But it's the friendliness of the residents and a prevailing Southern character that creates a unique urban and independent vibe. On these guided tours, discover how chefs and owners are using locally-sourced ingredients to create masterful contemporary Southern dishes and treats.
Please note: Your tour will start on 4th Street and then explore either the West End or Arts District. The 3:30 tours to the West End and the 1:30 tours to the Arts District alternate each Saturday. We take requests, so be sure to email us in advance if you would like to schedule one or the other, and we will make sure that the date and location are available. Both tours include plenty of food. The 3:30 tour includes wine, beer, and cocktail pairings throughout the way, whereas the 1:30 tour includes tastes of wine and beer at two stops.
Notes: Tour runs rain or shine. Please dress appropriately for the weather. Wear comfortable shoes; walking distance is approximately 3 miles. Please bring a government-issued ID if you plan on participating in beer and wine tastings. Register in advance. If you are trying to register for a tour the morning of, please call 919 237-2254 to check availability. Sorry, no exchanges or refunds. If we have to cancel the tour due to extreme weather, we will refund your money.
