SIE presents: THREADS

The Spirituality Interconnectedness Experiment will host a piece of documentary theater Friday, December 2nd and Saturday, December 3rd at West-Park Presbyterian Church. The Experiment follows a group of college students as they explore how they locate themselves within, or without, a religious tradition.

The production is to start a conversation surrounding social issues, using multiple art forms, in conjunction with documented film of the "rehearsals." They've asked, how can theater be used as a medium to start the conversation between religious traditions and (secular?) cultures? and How do/can we understand the "other" through artistic performance?

The production is interactive and designed to charge the audience with the task of an introspective assessment of the dichotomous relationship between religion and spirituality.
