Tanya Wright plays the role of Deputy Kenya Jones on HBO's True Blood. Butterfly Rising--her directorial debut--is the first transmedia project (a story told over several different platforms--book, movie, game) written, directed, produced by and starring an African-American woman. Tanya next appears in the feature film Predisposed with Jesse Eisenberg, Academy Award winning Melissa Leo and Tracy Morgan. Tanya has many other film and TV projects in various stages of development.
