Please join Lost Hearts and Souls & Sadie's Haven Horse Rescue of Santa Rosa & Sadie's Haven of Sebastopol for "Hooves, Hearts & Heroes" fundraiser November 2, 2015 to benefit abused and neglected animals. And of course, we certainly hope you and all your friends can attend, too!
Enjoy bona fide original homegrown organic blues-folk-with a side of soul-roots-grass from our opener Jacob Green, plus Americana music from Sonoma County favorite, The Bootleg Honeys. The mistress of ceremonies is Sister Scarlet Billows, with more entertainment & levity by Sister Frances A. Sissy and other nuns and nunlings of the Russian River Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence!
We are non-profit 501c.3 resources with an outstanding record of assisting equines across Northern California, focusing on horses, but also rescuing other animals-in-need including llamas, donkeys, pigs and goats. Since our inception in 1999 and 2009, respectively, I am proud to say that we and our team of hardworking volunteers have saved hundreds of precious lives.
This fundraiser, the first-ever such "partnership" event between our two rescue operations, is critical to the continuation of our efforts. Currently, we offer a sanctuary for about 40 horses on our two ranches, and we place many others at safe havens around the state nearly every week. Yet unfortunately, more and more animals need our rescue each day.
When: Nov. 2, 2015, from 5:30 p.m. to 8 p.m.
Where: Lagunitas Taproom & Beer Sanctuary
What: A festive dinner with live music, a silent auction, raffles, beer and wine tastings and celebration of rescue horses!

Who: Along with direct rescue, Lost Hearts / Sadie's work as educational resources, promoting the humane and respectful treatment of animals and offering guidance/support to well-meaning animal owners who simply cannot care for their pets.
How You Can Help: Buy a ticket! And any contribution, great or small, is sincerely needed and sincerely appreciated. For businesses, we will provide a table with your promotional materials, and will feature you in our flyers, advertising and public service announcements on radio, as space/times allows and give you great big shout-outs at the event.
