Local Habit Brew Masters Dinner featuring The Bruery
Join us for this unique food and beer experience as Local Habit Chef Nick Brune and The Bruery's Founder Patrick Rue collaborate to bring you five delicious courses of farm fresh food paired with five craft beers from Orange County's premier craft brewer.
Course 1: Mixed Bean Salad with Clove Vinaigrette and Suzie's Farm Sprouts paired with "Birra Basta" Biere De Garde Brewed With Zucchini, Fennel Seed & Lemon Peel
Course 2: Skillet Lamb Loin with Mashed Yam and Persimmon Gastrique paired with "Loakal Red" Oak Aged American Red Ale on Cask
Course 3: Turducken Sausage Stuffed Quail with Smoked Espagnole paired with "4 Calling Birds" Belgian Style Dark Ale Brewed With Spices
Course 4: Smoked Pork Loin with Pumpkin, Walnut, and Brown Sugar paired with "Burly Gourd" Milk Stout Brewed with Freshly Roasted Pumpkins
Course 5: Blue Cheese Ice Cream with Butter Cookies paired with "Oude Tart" Flemish Style Red Ale
The 6 pm and 7 pm seatings are full, but seats remain for the 8 pm seating. Reservations are $50 per person, exclusive of gratuity and sales tax. Sales tax of 7.75% will be added to the ticket price at checkout.

Local Habit, which opened in July 2011 is committed to using locally-sourced ingredients and supporting California-based purveyors with sustainable agriculture practices. Located in Hillcrest, the restaurant features organic foods made from scratch using seasonally available, local produce, house cured meats and homemade breads. The menu focuses on Nepolitana-style pizzas and tasty small plates and features a variety of items for people with dietary restrictions. About The Bruery
A small craft brewery located in Orange County, California. Our simple but often confusing name is a fusion of 'brewery' with our family name, Rue.
Our calling is to create beers with character and depth using the simplest and purest of means. We do not filter or pasteurize our beers. All of our bottled beers gain carbonation through bottle conditioning, allowing carbonation to naturally occur through a secondary bottle fermentation.
