Meredith College Community Day of Dance
A fundraiser for Meredith College's Nu Delta Alpha chapter, advanced Meredith students and Meredith faculty will offer classes in ballet, jazz, modern, and tap for beginning through advanced dancers ages 6 and up. Introduction to Dance classes for very beginning students ages 2-5 and 6-10 will also be offered. For dancers 17+ Meredith faculty will teach advanced modern and yoga for dancers.
45 minute classes $15 each
90 minutes classes $20 each
Schedule:
8:30-12:00 registration open
9:00-9:45
Jazz: beginning, ages 6+
Introduction to dance, ages 6-10
Tap: intermediate/advanced, ages 6+
9:45-10:30
Jazz: intermediate/advanced, ages 10+
Introduction to dance, ages 2-5
Tap: beginning, ages 6+
10:30-11:15
Modern beginning ages 6+
Modern intermediate/advanced, ages 10+
11:15-12:00
Ballet: beginning ages 6+
Ballet: intermediate/advanced, ages 10+
12:00-1:30
Intermediate/Advanced Modern for adults (17+) taught by Carol Finley
Yoga for Dancers for adults (17+) taught by Alyson Colwell-Waber
