Come enjoy live music, glassblowing, appetizers, drinks and good company.  Plus a bonus live auction for all glass pieces created at the event!

Tickets $25

An evening of Glassblowing and Music is a fundraiser put on by the Concord PTA to benefit CAST - Concord Attic Student Theaters.

Live glassblowing by Concord Parent Matt Hooks of Lagarto Glass and the team at Seattle Glassblowing Studio. Silent auction for glass pieces (please bring your checks or cash - no credit cards).

Musicians featured:
Janet Johnson: Acapella music influenced by jazz and textured with folk rock sensibilities.

Frenchy Toast: Authentic French songs from the early to mid 1900's

Pasquale Santos: Violin for the 21st century.  Mixing technology and classical, from Paganini to Lady GAGA.

Babajaga: "electrifying live gypsy violin and piano mixed with electronic dance beats"

John Ames: performs original cello compositions with looping to produce ambient, harmonious sounds.

Nyamuziwa Marimba Ensemble: plays the lively, spirited Shona-style marimba of Zimbabwe

Andre Feriante: a cross-over artist in the vein of YoYo Ma or Sting, a bold but fluid musical fusion, featuring music from Bach to Lenard Cohen, flamenc improvisation to jazz standards.


CAST is the unique drama program at Concord International Elementary School in the South Park neighborhood.  Students at Concord participate regularly in drama classes as part of their arts education.  Concord International Elementary School is a Seattle Public School in South Park that serves a vibrant community of culturally and economically diverse families.
