Marty Haggard, singer/songwriter and oldest son of country legend Merle Haggard performs a ninety minute tribute to his Dad at the historic Paramount Theatre in downtown Casa Grande, Arizona. Marty will take you back to a time when country was country as he sings his Dad's classics as well as some of his own songs. Direct from Branson, Missouri, Marty brings along three of the best players in the business. Eugene Moles-(Band Leader, lead guitar, studio musician, producer and picker of anything with strings. Eugene has played with Merle Haggard, Buck Owens, Del Reeves and The Amazing Rhythm Aces just to name a few.) Mark Yeary-(Mark was hired as Merle Haggard's piano player when he was twenty years old, a gig that lasted almost twenty years. His piano is the signature sound of those classic Haggard hits. Mark plays several instruments and is a composer, producer and all around nice guy.) Mark Abbott-(Bass, Fiddle, singer/songwriter- Mark is a current member of The Sons of the Pioneers and has played with Janie Fricke, Red Steagall, Don Edwards, Ray Price and more.)
