Join us for our second annual Evening for Africa. One this night you will enjoy remarkable food, wine, and live music in support of a rural community in Eastern Kenya.
A special meal will be prepared to accompany our guests from the East African Center for the Empowerment of Women and Children as they speak with you about creating opportunities in Kenya for individuals to live better, more fullled, healthy and productive live...s.
You will have the opportunity to purchase unique holiday gifts - Vutakaka School student sponsorships, handmade sewing items from Takaungu Sewing Cooperative, and photography from People magazine's photographer Brenna Britton who visited and documented life in Takaungu in 2009.
This is truly a magical and hope lled evening that will leave you feeling inspired and fullled.
