| Description |
Nannette Brodie Dance Theatre is celebrating 20 years of performing, entertaining and educating with evening and matinee performances showcasing current and past company members in reprised and premiere works by Founder and Artistic Director, Nannette Brodie. Prior to founding NBDT, Ms. Brodie performed and choreographed for
the nationally acclaimed, Los Angeles modern dance company, The Moving Company.
Much of her choreographic theory stems from her early work and training with such luminaries as Murray Louis, Janice Day and Alwin Nikolais; yet, her own body of work covers a very broad spectrum of emotion and content. It can range from the deeply evocative to the politically provocative---from knee-slapping funny to heartrending.
