Announcing our line up for this year. And what a varied and fun night it will be. Here is what we have in terms of genre: Irish, Scottish, Galician, Jewish, Gypsy Jazz, Americana, Christmas, Sing-along, spoken word, singer-songwriter, Jazz, and who knows what else. This will be a blast. Already most of the tickets have sold, which means that we have a very generous audience for the Burren Backroom Series, but also an audience that knows this will be a special night. All proceeds to the cause. Look at the line-up - and this doesn't include surprises.

Our annual event sells out quickly.. Always on the first Wednesday of December features feature a wide variety of local and visiting talent. The purpose is to raise funds for the Somerville Homeless Coalition while celebrating the diversity of live music in this wonderful space.
Again, 100% of everything goes to Somerville Homeless, so please be generous.'
The Burren Backroom series creates create intimate, informal presentations held in the atmospheric space created by well-known traditional musicians Tommy McCarthy and Louise Costello in Davis Square, Somerville, Masachusetts.
Hosted by Brian O'Donovan of A Celtic Sojourn on WGBH radio, these gatherings will feature core performers from many aspects of traditional music as well as special guests, and conversations around the music. As is the custom of the Burren, it is anticipated informal and dynamic post concert sessions will be a feature.
