Description
Off Broadway West Theatre Company is proud to annouce that we were nominated for seven San Francisco Bay Area Theatre Critic Circle Awards and the winner of one for our first season.
We are opening our second season with Lillian Groag's hilarious THE LADIES OF THE CAMELLIAS.  In 1897 the two most famous women of the stage met for the first time.  Madame Sarah Bernhardt of France and Signora Eleanora Duse of Italy were the world's most revered and feared actresses.  After their meeting, the theatre would never be the same again.
THE LADIES OF THE CAMELLIAS is a funny and poignant look at the world of theatre and the strange and wonderful people that inhabit it.  Among them are actors, directors (whatever they are), bomb-wielding anarchists and the famous writer, Alexander Dumas, fils.  All are part of a wonderful ensemble that collide with sidesplitting results.  This is a production that you will not want to miss.

NOTE: No one under 10 years old will be admitted.
