Seattle Radio Theatre: 'Miracle on 34th Street'
For its 12th annual live holiday production, Seattle Radio Theatre performs Miracle on 34th Street, the Christmas classic that proves the true spirit of the season has more to do with standing firm in one's beliefs than with sitting greedily on the lap of a department-store Santa. Starring Pat Cashman, Chris Cashman, Tracey Conway, Jim Dever, C.R. Douglas, John Maynard, Dolores Rogers, Chris Topping and Steve Wilson, with Curtis Takahashi performing live sound effects, and Rob Jones music director, this one-hour program features live music and vintage sound effects, as originally performed during the "golden age of radio drama" in the late 1940s. Broadcast live on AM 1090 KPTK, it's perfect holiday fare for the whole family. Presented by Town Hall and Seattle Radio Theatre.
