Sphere Ensemble at Boulder's Nomad Playhouse
The wait is over! Come celebrate the release of Sphere's debut album, Divergence! This show will feature tunes from our album paired with related works: the title track, by our friend and jazz phenom Wil Swindler, along with the Adagio for Strings by Samuel Barber that inspired it; the second movement of Maurice Ravel's Sonatine as arranged for Sphere, along with the second movement of Ravel's string quartet; and a special commission made possible by donors to our Kickstarter campaign. Also featured will be Elgar's Serenade for Strings and a suite of fiddle tunes including works from Spherists Emily Rose Lewis and David Short.
Advance tickets are a flat rate of $5/students, $15/seniors, and $20/adults. Prices go up by $2 at the door, so get your tickets now!
