It is almost Fall Musical time in The Studio!!!
The Fantasticks is a timeless musical that explores the themes of family and love.
The story, loosely based on the play "The Romancers" ("Les Romanesques") by Edmond Rostand, concerns two mothers and their children, Luisa and Matt, and a few traveling actors who help this couple learn a valuable lesson about love. The New York production was the longest running show of its time. The original production played at the Sullivan Street Playhouse in Greenwich Village, and starred Jerry Orbach (Lt. Briscoe on TV's Law & Order). Other notable performers who have appeared in The Fantasticks include F. Murray Abraham, Glenn Close, Liza Minnelli, Kristin Chenoweth and Elliot Gould. Most recently, American Idol finalist Anthony Fedorov appeared in the revival as Matt.
So, "TRY TO REMEMBER," to come to the Fall musical; it's FANTASTICK!
